So, last Sunday as my friend and I recounted the often bizarre but always hilarious struggles that we encountered during the past week (which happened to include potentially falling for a boy with cat-eye(a la Thriller) contact lenses at Mr. Black, Getting a bruise the size of a grapefruit on the ass, drinking stolen tequila in a playground in Chinatown, hooking up with a surprisingly old Mtv Veejay (48!), and losing a license, camera, and ipod shuffle all in the same weekend) the idea was brought up that we should maybe document/consolidate our ignorant shenanigans into a blog. That way we can all share our stories with the world/remember them after the inevitable future struggles take their place in our collective memory.
I must first establish that we are a very multi-ethnic, multi-talented, group of kids who are bonded by a shared love of everything politically incorrect,racially-insensitive, hilarious, ignorant, and of course fun and outrageous. Think Drawn Together meets Family Guy meets queer-eye meets The Cheetah Girls. So don't be offended by anything we write, there's only love up in hurr, don't hate. Some of us are already, and begrudgingly, slaves of corporate America, and some of us are resisting getting employment as long as humanly, and financially, possible. Others are aspiring performers of some sort, and some of us are in school working on the side to finance their struggling. So look for a varied, and plentiful amount of anecdotes from each sector/lifestyle. In fact usually it's all one and the same because where one of us is...the other is usually following late in a taxi.
The Daily Trifle, henceforth will serve as our blog....let the ignorance begin!!
